Parents of Seniors:
On Monday, November 17 there will be a Financial Aid Evening for parents of Seniors featuring a speaker from FAME. This event will begin at 6:30pm and take place in room B109.

STUDENTS:

Diaboli Musicae is Lewiston High School's unique extracurricular choir that performs jazz, acapella and pop.  Auditions are September 30th from 2:15 to 4:30pm  in room A10.

For All Musicians:  If you are planning to audition at District II  or State Festivals this year, make sure you have signed up with Mr. Ebersold or Ms. Poppke by Friday Sept. 26th, or your  name will not be registered.  Keep in mind that eligibility does apply.

Attention Seniors!  Bring your studio portrait (any size) for the yearbook, with your name on back to room C206A by Friday, October 3, or email it to Mr. Siragusa.  If you want your Lifetouch library photo or your Lifetouch studio portrait to be your yearbook photo, they will be sending that to us so you don't have to do anything.

Sophmores, buy your homecoming class t-shirts before and after school in room C206b.  Starting Friday, limited supply only.

There will be a National Honor Society meeting right after shcool Thursday the 25th in room B105.

Spirit Week is next week and your Blue Devil Cheerleaders will be selling homecoming t-shirts again next week.  The cost will be $10.00 and will be available in all lunches. Make sure you get yours as there will be a limited supply.

Attention all students:  Yearbooks are on sale for $45.00 until October 3rd.  Students may purchase books before school and after school in room C206A or they may be ordered from publishing students during all white day lunches.

Don't miss the 11th annual Christian College fair September 23,24 and 25th.  With more than 30 colleges  present and workshops on financial aid, and scholarship search, you can't go wrong.  This event is free.  Visit www.mainechristian.com or call 207-832-5041 for details.  Fair times are from 6:30 to 8:30pm.

4th Annual Collegiae Snowsports College Fair at the WPI Campus Center, Worcester, MA Sunday, October 19th from 11:00am to 1:00pm.

Once again spirit week is right around the corner and the student council is putting on many fun events for students and staff to enjoy after school.  Come help support your class win the events.

Wednesday-Powder Puff football @ 6:30
Thursday- Car Push in the Green Ladle Parking lot with Mr. Levesque @ 2:15.

There will be a quick outing club meeting in room B105 directly after school Friday.  Please be prompt.

Reminder to students if you have not returned your free and reduced lunch applications please do so by Sept. 30.  If they are not received by this date you will default to a paying student.  Please note there is no charging policy at LHS.  If you have any questions, see Mrs. Gauthier in the cafeteria.

Academic Advocate will meet every Tuesday after school in room C226.  All are welcome.

The Art Club will meet on Monday Sept. 29th. at 2:10 in the Ceramics studio, Mr. Dube's room G5 for all those interested.

There will be rehearsals for the District II Choral Music Festival on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30pm to 3:30pm in A10.  All accepted singers must attend at least three sessions to perform in the Festival.  See Ms Poppke for a practice CD.
