Mission Statement

We believe that students are the foundation of our combined schools and that their individual needs, interests and well-being are our highest priority. Each student should be an active participant in the educational process with support from teachers, staff, parents and community. All members of the school community are encouraged to value diversity and appreciate each individual.

The staff of Lewiston High School and the Lewiston Regional Techincal Center is committed to preparing students to be lifelong learners and providing them with educational opportunities and choices. Guided by Maine's Learning Results, we hold high performance expectations for ALL students.

We will provide a safe and flexible learning environment that promotes creativity, investigation and critical thinking. Valuing individual needs and learning styles of our students, we are dedicated to providing a variety of instructional and assessment strategies.
