Academic Honor Roll - An honor student is a student who is able to excel in all areas including academic and unified arts subjects. The honor student maintains respect and proper attitudes towards the rights and properties of others and must have at least a "2" in deportment. First Honors: - A minimum overall average of 93 and no grade less than a "B" in any subject. Second Honors: - A minimum overall average of 85 and no grade less than a "B" in any subject.

Behavior Honor Roll - Any student who can progress through an entire ranking quarter without receiving a written warning for inappropriate behavior, an office detention, an in-school suspension, an exclusion or a suspension; and who has not been truant will be listed on the BEHAVIOR HONOR ROLL. This is posted around the school and those students will be eligible for rewards and recognition. Please see the C.O.D.E. for expected appropriate behaviors.

PRIDE Program - The PRIDE Program was established at Lewiston Middle School for the purpose of promoting Scholarship, Sportsmanship, and Citizenship in our students. Students earn PRIDE slips from staff members when they display appropriate actions of scholarship, citizenship, and sportsmanship. Students then deposit the slips in the PRIDE barrel located in the guidance office. Regular drawings of these PRIDE slips result in rewards for the students.

Blue Star Honor Pass - The "Blue Star" student Privilege program is set up to reward excellent student academic achievement and behavior. Students who earn this designation will be allowed certain privileges and rewards by the quarter. "Blue Star" student criteria for each quarter: 1. Academic honor roll and 2. Behavior honor roll.
