#832130 Medical Terminology
Students in this course will be introduced to terms and language commonly found in the medical and health care professions. The student builds vocabulary through the study of word structure by learning prefixes, suffixes and word roots. Students enrolling in the course should have the ability to memorize and use medical elements and medical abbreviations, have excellent spelling skills, have the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, and have excellent attendance.
