Talk amongst peers when appropriate.

Be on time.
Be prepared—bring pencils, pens, paper, and binder.
Use appropriate language.
No put-downs or negativity.
Food, candy, gum, and drinks are NEVER allowed!!!

Allow students to start homework at the end of class, if time allows.
Have students work in groups for some class work.
Humor in the classroom!
Be flexible!

Be fair, but challenging.
Listen to students and their opinions.
Respect student values.
Don’t single out students. Keep problems between the student and myself.
Make sure students know concepts taught before moving on to the next topic.
Do hands-on activities.
Make class interesting!!!
Explain homework before students leave.
Give meaningful homework.
