Welcome Back!!          Hi Everybody!         I hope you have had a terrific summer.  As the summer winds down, quickly I might add, I am spending time in the classroom setting everything up for your first day of the 2007-2008 school year.  I want the room to make you feel right at home and  give you an atmosphere for doing your best!!         Remember to do your back-to-school supply shopping.  There are great sales going on right now that help keep the cost down.  Take advantage of them.         I hope your summer reading is going well.  I can't wait for us to share our books with each other.  I wonder how many books our class read in all over the summer.  Bring in an estimated number!  Don't forget to bring your summer reading activities with you, as well as your bookmark, your small bag of five items that tell about you, and other supplies.           Activities planned for the first week or two will help us get to know each other, and even ourselves better.  We also will be planning for the annual open house.
