Maine Learning Technology Initiative (MLTI)

Lewiston Middle School students are fortunate to have the opportunity of receiving an Apple MacBook laptop computer for their use. These computers were leased from Apple by the State of Maine for our students. Click here for more MLTI information.

Lewiston Middle School is responsible for the maintenance and care of these computers. Students and parents need to assume that responsibility to make sure the computer is used and stored in a fashion that will not cause damage.

Students are allowed the privilege of taking this MacBook home. In order to do so, parent and students must meet with the proper school personnel to review the responsibilities of taking the laptop home. Taking the computer home is a privilege and can be revoked by the parent or the school at anytime.
