Entrepreneurship Program

How does one become an entrepreneur? In the Entrepreneurship Program, you will be given the opportunity to learn the basics of starting your own business, as well as, the day-to-day management activities of a small business. You will learn about the different forms of business ownership. The creation of a business plan including a marketing and financial plan will be completed. Your understanding of entrepreneurship will be enhanced through guest speakers from the business community, and through support services from area agencies. Upon completion of a semester and a half, students will have the option of working at an internship site in a related small business.

Students are required to . . .

• provide reliable transportation to and from the internship site.
• contact instructor when unable to attend class and internship.
• wear professional attire appropriate to the internship site.

High school credits awarded for successful completion of core curriculum for program.

- 36 weeks – 1 credit
