Students enrolling in the Health Science Careers should . . .
• be at least 16 years of age
• have good mental and physical health
• be able to read and comprehend written and verbal content at 10th grade level
• have had algebra I and biology
• have absence of drug/alcohol use
• have good grooming and personal hygiene
• have excellent attendance
• work as a member of a team with little supervision
• have no record of criminal convictions
• have a genuine interest in people and be able to provide compassionate, nonjudgmental care to all types of people.
