Did you know that Montello School used to be the Lewiston High School?

Did you know that we have over 700+ students enrolled  this school year?

Did you know that Montello School used to house the Middle School?

Did you know that our school colors are red, white, and blue?
We even have Montello T-shirts in blue and white, so you can supply the red!

Other interesting facts:
When adults who are not part of the school district staff enter Montello Elementary School, they must enter through the office and sign in! Students are not allowed to open the doors for the adults entering the building unless it is the office entrance doors.

We have a tradition of a very fine gr. 5-6 school chorus, and it is all Montello Elementary School students! Our chorus is a lot of fun to be a part of.  The singers work hard, and sing wonderfully at their concerts! We even have a school band that has many talented musicians in training! Can you be in both the band and in chorus?  Of course you can! Is it hard?  It is about as hard as breathing and having fun!

Our students and parents expect the best from us at Montello, and we just love them for it.  That's the Montello Tradition!

Meet the Office Staff at Montello:
The Montello Office Professionals are super people ! They will help us find answers to what we need
to know. They are a very important part of our teamwork at Montello!
When visiting our school, be sure to see them first!
(More staff listings are on the Teaching Staff and More Staff pages.)
