KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!!!!!

Math:

1.   Finish any assignment not finished during class.  It is due the following day.

2.   Math Review quiz on Friday.  

3.   Math packet is due on Friday.

 

Fifth Grade Math Vocabulary: Factor trees/prime factorization, factors, factor pairs, prime numbers, composite numbers, square numbers, multiples, divisor, quotient, dividend, scale, interval, axis:x and y, input/output table, improper fraction, equivalent fraction, mixed numbers, dimensions, length and width, base, exponent, algebraeic expression.

We are practicing parts of speech.  Students have worksheets to practice and will be quized at the end.

Science:

Social Studies:

We are reading and discussing chpt. 5.  A test will be forthcoming.

The Viking Age will begin soon.  Be prepared for the invasion.

Reading:

1.  50 pages of reading needs to be done each week.  A signed log (by parents) needs to be turned in each Friday verifying this.  This can just be a plain little note.

2.   Finish Wish Giver questions if  you didn't finish during class today.  Due on Tuesday.

$12.00 is due for the field trip in June.  The due date for the money is before June 1st.  Medical release form for field trip on the 6th will need to be filled out and returned in order for your son/daughter to participate.
