LHS PHOTOGRAPHY PROGRAM
The Lewiston Highschool Black & White Photography program is a traditional black & white film orientated photographic program. Students Learn under the guidance of a professional photographer the merits of hands on course work which enables them to experience the whole process of making and hand crafting traditional black and white imagery in a wet darkroom using film and paper. Students benefit from this experience in many ways, all the while learning the intricate relationship between Art and Science. The program emphasizes the use of lighting ,composition and traditional and nontraditional darkroom techniques. The results speak for themselves.
